Jenson Button of the BAR Team who qualified 3rd on Thursday did not manage to qualify due to his big accident in the morning practice session. If deemed fit by the medical staff tomorrow, he will begin the race from the pits.

It was clear that Michelin’s got the advantage over Bridgestone in this race track as most Bridgestone runners were struggling for front grip and understeer.
