Whoa… what a fantastic race! Incident-filled in the beginning, action-packed towards the end…
Tho I was pretty sad to see Kimi out of the race before even the first corner (pretty much I sum it caused by Ralf who forced Rubens too far to the left, in which Kimi was already there trying to take advantage of Ruben’s slow start) but I stayed on to watch, despite having sub-standard frozen pizza for dinner… there’s no Domino’s here in Nilai!
Really good strategy by the McLaren team, in which sensibly stretched DC’s race from a 3-stopper to 2 stops unlike the Renaults and Ferrari in which the former suffered from rear tyre blisters (they were using the Michelin soft compared to DC’s hard tyres…) and the latter suffered a puncture or what Ron Dennis said it to be a tyre failure due to the track temperature and race conditions… and Schumi ended up 7th… muahahahah
So Monty won the race, followed by DC and then Trulli and Alonso… the Toyota drivers were the next on the finishing list… Okay enuf of me talking about the race… I’ve got a Java exam paper tomorrow at 8am and haven’t even at all started studying!
I’ll leave you guys to comment on the race in the comment section…

Oi…look at the replay - Reubens didn’t even have place to move, let alone be forced too far left…although I do share your feelings for Kimi. Haii…Montoya again, dontch like that fella ler.

Niki… oi… finally back on your blog ah?
Read again my post above and see for yourself, I said I blame Ralf, not Rubens… he’s just the patty in the sandwich incident…
Monty is on course to be in the Silver Arrows outfit in the 2005 season… if McLaren wanted him in service earlier (2004 season), they have to pay USD 20 million to see out Monty’s contract with Sir Frank Williams… well, I don’t think they should engage his service any earlier (although Monty will be more than happy to get out of the Williams camp in which he’s got no friends) as DC is still a very worthy driver, IMHO…
Although in recent years, especially before the start of season, there’s always talk about DC’s best challenge ever to win the championship, in which I suppose he takes it really seriously… but nevertheless, he’s a great bloke and a superb team player… look at how he was shadowed by Mika and now by Kimi, yet he’s okay with it… that’s the spirit, my boy!
Okay.. enuf of F1… back to studying Java…!

yup dude … DC is still worthy. All he need to do is do some serious praying or bomoh … coz he is just pure bad luck guy (except last night ler).
heheh..
with Montoya getting 10 points last night … i reckon that the next few races is gonna be interesting …

Personally I don’t want Monty to move over to McLaren.. both him n Kimi are agrresive drivers. Can imagine they take each other out of the race already. =/
Anywayz, damn Ralf. Poor Kimi. Good show Monty + DC. Glad to see MS took a 7th. WDC is getting exited..

You mean excited
Perhaps Monty isn’t that bad a driver, in sense of being selfish… but I don’t think Kimi have any problem with any teammate, he’s just so cool and calm and easy going… give him a fast car and he’s a happy puppy…
If we’ll inevitably see Monty in the Silver Arrows outfit on the 2005 season, I hope that DC gets to stay for 2004 or at least if he moves on to another team, or full-time managing his hotel in Monte Carlo or back to his playboy lifestyle, I suggest that Alexander Wurz be given a chance being a full-time driver…
Gotta respect Wurz for all the effort in testing for McLaren and patience in waiting for his chance to drive competitively again… guess the talk linking him to Jaguar definitely broke down now that Jag’s got the British rookie, Justin Wilson….
