… summed up my day yesterday… it was Jasmine’s birthday (Happy Birthday! smiley ) and we celebrated it at Red Box Karaoke, Sunway Pyramid at 3pm. ET bought a big blackforest cake from Secret Recipe (dunno why, we only finished a quarter and ET and Jasmine gonna eat cake for breakfast/lunch/dinner for the next 3 days to finish it for sure!) while Ehlant and I were the guests. So there were 4 of us and we had a swell time singing for 3 hours. Sigh, I’m a banana so I only sang English songs smiley … but nevermind, my soothing voice of mesmerizing (not as good as michaelooi’s golden voice of mesmerizing yet, but close!) silenced the crowd, especially when singing Nobody Knows by Tony Rich Project - hehe, perhaps nobody else in the room knows how to sing that song, that’s why… LOL smiley

Want some cakes? Go ask ET… he’s got tons left for sure! smiley

After the karaoke session at around 6pm, I left the gang and joined up with CheeV and his friends for dinner at Saisaki - KL’s famous Japanese buffet restaurant in Wisma UOA. Drove thru some traffic jams to reach there just before 7pm, parked at CheeV’s family business, the Hakka Restaurant (soon to come: HakkaRestaurant.com.my - eh CheeV, good idea, no? smiley ) and we walked to Saisaki.

It was about RM 48 per person for the buffet dinner - and the food there were great! smiley Worth every sen, I tell you! smiley

killuminati, wanted to call you to join us, but I realised that I didn’t have your number! *pai seh*

Here are the pix:

Entrance to the restaurant, look at CheeV’s grin on his face… he’s gonna eat until he can’t eat no more… push it push it summore…. alalala long… smiley

My massive plate of tempura goodies, what to do, waited a good 5 minutes for them to fry the tempura items… and a hana maki with caviar (I think, if caviar also cheap one ler, or perhaps rotten fish roe… LOL smiley )

The communal steamboat udon noodles with lotsa stuff, tauhu and salmon included… the soup was not bad indeed smiley

KodakTM moment… heheh, the famished crew of 7 now fed to the max and probably will skip Japanese food for a month or so (at least I will skip having salmon for the next month or so - had Con Salmone pasta the day before - see here)
