… and I’m wide awake this morning…
Had a test just a while ago and I woke up at 5.30am this morning to study for it… and that effort ended only an hour after that, when I began playing Need for Speed: Underground until it was time to go to college…

So before the test, I was at the sidewalk cafe and downed the black caffeine-enriched water… kinda barely kicked me into first gear… cheapo coffee powders… Would rather rely on Coffee Bean’s espresso to get me into gear…

Not that I’m dependent on coffee really… but yesterday was a long day at college (7+ hours straight) plus a test… so I was pretty braindead… so this morning needed some caffeine to kick me up…

The test was easy peasy japanesey… did it in half an hour…
Promised Liang that I’ll join him for bowling later at Nilai Springs… and then I’m gonna drive down to Subang for lunch with Sarah… and gonna finally watch Gothika… this better be good… like how most people say it is…

Kinda dissapointed with the EPL result of Man Utd vs Boro match… Man Utd lost 2-3 to them at home… fuck man, at the rate things are going, surely they’re gonna lose out the title to ARSEanal… hope that don’t happen…
From my observation… Wes Brown is still not back at his best like the season before… he’s got a long way to go to sync up the partnership of centre defence with Mikael Silvestre…

I really think Fergie should go get another central defender to plug the defensive holes… Roberto Fabian Ayala of Valencia is still my choice… he’s really good in defense and heading too… it’ll be good to see him team up with Rio “My dad thinks he’s really no use and a major liability with his price tag” Ferdinand for central defense when he comes back from his suspension (really miss the good old days of Steve Bruce & Gary Pallister… sigh)

After all, the leftback position is still a weak point in my opinion… neither John O’Shea nor Quinton Fortune can properly play at that position… guess leftbacks really prefer to do overlapping attacks than to defend properly (like Roberto Carlos and Ashley Cole)… although Mikael Silvestre is good with central defense… I’d still like to see him manage the leftback position as he’s really good at that position… for rightback, it’s still Gary Neville the best so far within the squad… definitely a better understudy is required for his position as he’s getting more injury prone now…

Okay enough of talking about footie… I’m gonna go down to the sidewalk cafe and meet up with Ah Liang…

… fuck, latest update, Liang just came into the lab (yeah I’m blogging now from the college lab - with Yee Leng keep pestering me by my side just because her PC can’t go online and she’s being a pain-in-the-ass annoying me like there’s no tomorrow…) and announced that SOCIT just changed our class’s timetable…

Heard that it’s gonna be a major revamp! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK! (damn, my expletives are flying like crazy now…)

There goes my relaxing Fridays (damn sure that it’s gonna be affected) and enjoyment of watching “Scrubs” on Fridays….

’tis not a good day for studies… summore i’ve got a test tomorrow…

… and one of the subject I’m having this sem is facing serious trouble.

The subject of CSC 320 H1 had only 2 lectures and 1 lab session to date… fucking thing is that the fucked up no-good-son-of-a-bitch lecturer is not showing up at work and don’t even have the courtesy to actually re-arrange the schedule or a replacement lecturer for the course…

Okay, he may be down with some weird illness (I’m thinking alone the lines of HIV, but maybe it’s something worse…) that caused him to call in to the college on a daily basis claiming he’s on MC….

But why can’t he be more responsible, I’m fine with it if he is so ill until he can’t call in but this different… he can call up and make all sorts of excuse to the SOCIT office but can’t be responsible enough to admit that he won’t be able to lecture for the next few weeks…

With that, the entire class is suffering from the lack of time… first chapter was not even completely delivered and not even a mention about assignments, projects and tests…. other sections of this course (taught by other lecturers) have already gone into test 1 and assignments/projects…

Today, we ended up complaining to the Head of Programme, and he promised that we’ll have a complete discussion later regarding the replacement lecturer and also how we’re gonna tackle the entire course in 1/2 the time now… geez, that’s a superb start to my academic year of 2004

… yeap, my exams are all over, am in the lab now, can’t wait to go back to my pad and start packing up and load up my car and drive all the way back to KL!

Why am I still in the lab, you ask?
Coz the fucking bitch Head of Programme keep wanting to see me since Friday, and the 2 times I went over to the SOCIT office to meet her, she’s never fucking there… her assistant, Joan, told me on Friday and yesterday again that she would notify that big fucking bitch (yeah, she’s a bigger and fatter bitch compared to Kyle’s mom of South Park!) to call me - but that motherfucking bitch never even bothered to pick up the fucking phone to fucking call me (pardon the expletives, just gotta rant somehow…)… what the fuck?

It is all because of the CITC semester 1 subjects that the guys that came from CITC (foundation year) sem 2 direct gotta retake due to the MoE insist that foundation should not be less than a year… alright, do I give a flying fuck? Hell no!

I’m not supposed to be involved coz I transferred from APIIT and I fucking have already more than 1/2 year of diploma programme at APIIT, and coming into Inti, I already had to do a sem 3 of CITC as a conversion/bridging to get to my BCN degree course that I’m in now… and I don’t fucking deserve or get the CITC certificate due to me only having it as a bridging and not a full course, and now she fucking want me to do 3 fucking subjects that I don’t fucking need to summore during my fucking holidays???!!! HELL NO!

I’m just gonna go find her again after posting this and if she really insist on me doing the courses and push me over my limit, I think the expletives won’t just end here on the blog but in her face! If she’s not there, then it’s just too fucking bad for her, I’m leaving for KL no matter what, and I’m not gonna take a copy of the notes for the 3 subjects!

… mark is 36 out of 40… cool! I managed to help him score his project marks in this Database subject… spent a few days helping him with the ADO connectivity within ASP and he did all the nice interface and interaction… and ended up highest… now I wanna make him buy me seafood dinner liao… tee hee!

The day I actually look forward to go back to civilizationKuala Lumpur for the weekend, and I gotta endure a blardy test before I can go back.. #$%#$%#@$@#$#!

Test on CSC 312 - Computer Communications.. almost all the chapters taught is gonna be in it… damn! By the time I understood and memorized how to do LRC, VRC and CRC calculations for error detection, I will forget all about how to do the NRZ-L, NRZ-I, RZ, Manchester, Differential Manchester, AMI, B8ZS and HDB3…. what the fuck???!!!

And already in my quiz last Friday I mixed up the HDB3 encoding liao… sigh, I dunno how this will go… I foresee that the CCNA v3.0 exam is a tad easier than this paper… I can do subnet calculation better than all these error detection and encoding methods…

Why the fuck they teach us all that also I dunno… I mean, if these are already industrial standards and all, nicely in place, there’s no point to be studying them UNLESS i wanna be a smart ass and go invent something better right? There’s no point reinventing the wheel unless I wanna make it better!

Kinda looking forward to this weekend… tho it’s a mixture of leisure and pressure as I get to meet up with Piak again after so long and that the Formula 1 World Championship is gonna be decided this weekend… (hopes Kimi wins and Schumi crashes out… )

The pressure of this weekend would be to settle up CSC 312’s project documentation and presentation material… let’s see how I can survive this… furthermore, gotta finish up my housemate’s project on the ASP and DB backend coding so that he can present it on Tuesday…

Gonna have to remind myself to write out the cheques to pay for my DiGi mobile bills - or else sure gonna kena cut next week liao… way way overdue… guess I’ll just drive over to the DiGi SS 2 branch tonight and put it in the cheque deposit box for payments…

Oh yeah, gonna go to Caltex and adopt myself a duck for the Great KL Duck Race! Hmm… I’m planning to revive my plans to sit for the CCNA during the 2 months semester break that I’ll be having at the end of October this year.

I actually had plans to sit for it and get it done (and start on CCNP) much earlier - but due to the fact that I came back to studying full-time made it not really feasible to get it done so early (I’ve gotta either recertify or upgrade to a new certification in a year or 3 years).

But now, it seems feasible for me to pick up the books and go thru it again… yeah, I’m planning to get my CCNA done via self-study (I’m a cheapo and it only cost RM 350 to sit for the paper - rather than paying for the course - which IMHO, is quite useless). After all, I’m quite versed with the Cisco IOS having prior experience in configuring and setting up numerous Cisco routers in my field of work in the past and countless hours on the router simulators. I have also with me the Sybex CCNA Study Guide 2nd Edition (640-507 CCNA v2) - that’ll be enough to cover for the syllabus.

But the difference now is that CCNA is now on v3 (640-607) and it’s much tougher and also trickier… so if any of you out there with the experience of passing the CCNA v3… please give me some tips or pointers in the comment box Thanks!

Yay… finally another semester behind me now… and what do I get out of it? A measly 2 weeks off…

Gonna make the best out of it… I think I’ll go apply for MyKad one day…. going to Melaka for a daytrip either on Wed or Thu…. and assemble up an AMD Duron box from the spare parts I have (donated from Wai Keen and Jasmine… thanks peeps! )

Let’s see what else I’ll be able to cram in such a short break… ala don’t care… EPL season starting back! Yay!

But blardy hell, F1 season is going for a summer break just in time for my semester break… so no F1 for the coming 2 weeks.. sigh!
