Oh well… Malaysian Govt have decided to ban the upcoming movie Bruce Almighty due to some religious officers think it’s an insult to Islam… haih, I wonder if they actually see the movie or not before they decide… what a bunch of hypocrites…

There’s so many fellow bloggers already posting about this matter, I don’t think I have to specifically talk about it (just go to www.petalingstreet.org and see for yourself their postings) but this really dissapoint me…

Like one of them blogger said (I can’t remember which, too lazy to look it up again), are we (or only those who complained to media/censorship board) so incapable to decide what we gonna watch, read, learn anymore? Can’t those who feel offended by it just ignore it and don’t watch it? Sheesh…

Sigh, I guess I’ll have to wait for the pDVD version then… definitely Uncle Ho will benefit from this
Then again, even if this show goes into our cinemas, I bet they’ll cut the part Jennifer Aniston shows her cleavage scene anyway…

Woohoo… ET just called me from college and told me we both passed our coursework marks for maths…. he’s got 16, I’ve got 17… the passing mark was 16, if not, might have to repeat the whole subject… phew!!!!

I guess pretty much thanks to Chee for persuading me to go for the Test 2, which I scored 0.5 (or rounded up to 1) Thanks man!

After feeling much better…. (whole day yesterday I was down with diarrhea… sigh!) today I went shopping in Low Yat Plaza/Sg. Wang Plaza…

Bought a few software and game CDs and then found a stall selling DVD movies (a rarity these days considering the recent massive raids on pirated movies) - managed to get 3 movies, including the Animatrix DVD.. (the other 2 was Lilo & Stitch and Adaptation)

Then walked around washing my eyes while waiting for Bee San to get off work… had teppanyucky with her in Sg. Wang Plaza before shopping for a tripod for my camera… got a Sakure tripod for RM 75… quite okay lar…

Then sent Bee San home, hoping to catch Richard for a drink, but alas, he wasn’t around at home… so I came home early… still thinking if I actually get to play 9-ball pool this weekend or not… anyone wanna ask me go play pool?

So I had a maths quiz today in class, earlier this morning, I tried to be a bit hardworking-lah… started doing some exercise that the lecturer posted in the INTIonline server… and then I wanted to check the answers, realised I didn’t download the answers from the site… so I went online and clicked on INTIonline’s URL….

Cannot find server! #$#@$#@%!!!! Then I tried to access Inti College’s site (www.intimal.edu.my) and same problem…. and all this with some users from the college hostel being able to connect on ICQ… so the WAN links aren’t down…

WTF?? Is the administrators at the college so incompetent until main site also cannot access from the Internet? What the fuck is this? And considering that I’m studying a degree in computer systems & networks here at this fucked up college…. geez…. the whole campus network is fucked… and don’t get me started on the WiFi thing that they promised… even the Subang campus got it working and all liao….

SIGH…. Inti love my money, but don’t let me access my course material…!

Finally… it’s all done now… all the rushing for projects… all behind me now (at least for this semester)…

The presentation earlier, did a funny sketch to demonstrate the use of the system our group designed… luckily we were the first group to present today, so lesser grilling of questions by the lecturer…. oh yeah, thanks Jessica for the use of your laptop…

So there’ll be a week of study leave for next week before the exams begin… then I’ll get my semester break for 2 weeks after 9th of August… sigh, so short time, dunno what I can do really… a trip to Langkawi is now no longer possible… perhaps just laze around at home… or learn more about digital photography…

Oh yeah, lately been getting myself hooked on to Coke Light Lemon… tastes better than Pepsi Twist, hands down! And it’s Coke Light, so lower calories… tho doesn’t taste as good as the normal Coke, it’s good enough for someone like me, with a diebetic family background… So after having my tea time of “fu chuk barli” and roti bakar (toast), I decided to stock up the coolerbox in my house with 2 cans of Coke Light Lemon… which I doubt they’ll even see the light of dawn as I’m gonna empty it by tonight… Muahahahh!

Yeap, just woke up a short while ago… fell asleep after watching the Legendary Four Aces on TV3 earlier…

Came back to Nilai this afternoon… last nite’s British F1 GP was really exciting, lotsa overtaking moves, madman on the track, twice safety car deployed…

Imagine this, first time SC was deployed due to DC’s headrest flew off onto the track… second time was a mad protestor wearing a kilt… DC got something to say?

Anyway, Rubeno won the race, very deservingly, Montoya was quick being second while Kimi barely managed to maintain his position at 3rd just in front of Michael Schumacher who got it all wrong when the teams all rush in for pitstops during the 2nd SC period…. DC managed to recover his bad qualifying position to being 6th… The Renaults were a pretty quick package for this GP, but alas, quite unlucky for them…

Oh yeah, in the World Pool Championships 2003 Final, Thorsten Hohmann is now the new world champion after beating Alex Pagulayan 17-10 late last nite (or rather early this morning)

Over the weekend, I managed to finish up my part on the projects and escaped home for a quiet but satisfying weekend… and I got Murray Walker’s autobiography, a gift from a dear friend of mine… thanks!

Okay that’s it for now… shall blog more tomorrow or so after the project presentation…

Arghh! Project rush time!

Like I’m not already swamped with projects due this weekend… summore my Java lecturer come give an assignment that’s worth 10% on the coursework… @$@!#$!@$!!!

Whole night rushing for that Java assignment, I did a metric/imperial conversion applet…. cheokyeen got damn envious!

Hope to complete my ASP project by tonight, or else my members will have a hard time doing up the documentation…! sigh…!

I really can’t understand why… even my lecturer (another one from India, haih) can’t tell us exactly why it’s part of the syllabus… I still remember doing differentiation and integration back in Add Maths in high school… didn’t quite pay attention back then (not that I did pay attention now… )… and as usual, I sucked at it…

So today I got back my Test 2 results… I got 1… 1 out of 30… and that test contributes 15% to the courseworks… so it’s like I got 0.5 out of 15% (if rounded up, it’s 1% - Chee kept reminding me, to make me feel better ) just because the entire test was based on differentiation and integration… most of the students in the class suffered… Andi got better, with 4/30… LOL…

Haih… now worrying whether my coursework marks got enough to pass this subject or not… I really hate to repeat this…. !!!!!!!!

Since my blog site was down for the better part of last week, don’t quite feel the need to blog already… don’t know why…

Maybe I was stressed out with the mess I made trying to migrate and port my blog design over from b2 to Movable Type. And perhaps it was the dull and boring life here in Nilai… or perhaps I know darn well that I SHOULD BE DOING MY COURSE PROJECT NOW!

Trying to get up a good PHP-based (open source software ::roxx::) Photo Gallery script for my website so I can finally start posting pics I take with the new camera…. any suggestion of a good PHP photo gallery script?
