… and I woke up this morning at 9am

Managed to get myself to sleep at 1 or 2am and today woke up refreshed!
Finally I’m able to feel normal again - at least for just one day
Well, yesterday had a bad headache and Dr Liew advised that I should avoid sleeping at odd hours already… not that I can help it really - lucky today I have some appointments in the afternoon that’s why I forced myself to it…

He told me to establish back my normal circadian rhythm - it is kinda our internal daily biological clock… click on the link to find out more…

Okay… wish I have a productive day ahead…

… but I sure wish they have some at my regular clubs:

… and now I feel like I’m on the Indian Pacific Railway train going on the trans-Australian journey going thru the Australian desert with 478km of straight track dead ahead… when will I ever experience a climb for a change… dunno…

But perhaps boring and mundane routines in life could be a good thing compared to the massive roller coaster ride… not too sure about that either…

The remaining 32% threatened to not return to my site should I remove it.

Hmm… perhaps I should put CaRRot’s 2nd question as a poll question on my blog one day… as for birthday prezzie for girls… tough ler… the last one I had to go thru was Siew Li’s 21st birthday… a close friend, so I bought her a nice silver necklace for her, with the help of Bee San to choose the right one.

I happened to visit the site (http://thematrixonline.ubi.com) after being dissapointed with the inability of my current system (or rather, just the 3D card) to play the latest Prince of Persia game, The Sands of Time as it doesn’t support anything lesser than a GeForce3 card (mine’s GeForce2 MX, and even GeForce4 MX is not supported! bummer! ) Christmas is coming, anyone wanna buy me a spanking-new ATI Radeon 9800 XT or a Sony PS 2 console?

What kind of character can I play?
You’ll develop your unique character with weapons, abilities, and accessories. The Matrix Online will have a wide array of abilities, which are treated as software that can be added or removed from your character and traded with other players. Some of the abilities you’ll be able to use are different styles of martial arts (karate, aikido, etc), hacking a computer, hyper-jump (spectacular leaps between buildings, as you’ve seen in the Matrix movies), and much more.

What can I do other than combat?
There are many non-combat abilities that are essential to the missions you’ll undertake in the Matrix, such as stealthily sneaking into an enemy region or using your Hacker abilities to bypass automated defenses. You can also have the ability to create objects within the Matrix, which you can give or trade to your teammates. You’ll also be able to socialize with your fellow operatives, using email and a sophisticated chat system with emotes.

How do I win in The Matrix Online?
MMORPGs are unique in that there’s rarely a “winner” or even “an end” to the game. Your personal success will be measured by your character’s growing skills and abilities, and by your actions, you’ll contribute to the ongoing story and virtual reality that is The Matrix Online.
This one’s my favorite Q&A… Well, you don’t win the game! In other words, after you’re plugged in (to the game), they’ll keep sucking in your monthly fees until you’re bored, but by that time, you’re already so addicted to it, and realizing that you lost your job, girlfriend/wife, youth and that you’ve been disowned by your parents (coz you don’t go visit them no more, not even during Thanksgiving and Christmas) is a tad too late… so you just continued playing

… yeap, that’s what I had an hour ago…

Well, I slept quite late (as usual) and woke up at 8am just to make a bill payment over Maybank2U for the house’s ASTRO subscription… what to do, last night by the time I’m home, the Maybank2U system was already down for maintenance

After that, since my mom didn’t want to go for dim sum after her return from the morning market, I decided to catch up on my sleep… slept until around 3pm… had lots of dreams again…

Felt hungry, and it’ll be hours before dinnertime, so I thought I’d fix some stuff to eat, since mom’s not around, can pretty much mess up the kitchen while I’m at it and nobody to scream at my face.

Found some chicken frankfurters in the fridge, and took 2 eggs from the egg basket. Heated up the non-stick pan and started to cook… gosh, can’t remember when was the last time I actually cook something in the kitchen (must be years) - last time I used to cook burgers and even wantan mee at home… then the laziness crept into me.

So I had fried eggs and chicken sausages for brunch at tea time, well, not really fried eggs, but rather just one fried egg (no no, I didn’t fail in frying an egg, just that, as usual, my dad taxed a portion of the meal I made… that’s all ) and 3 sausages… if only I’ve got some bacon!

Sorry ya, no pix of my meal… since I was way too hungry to be bothered with taking pix of it!

Speaking of bacon, I think I’m gonna go shopping for groceries soon - some bacon definitely, and then the ingredients required to make Spaghetti alla Carbonara… gonna try the recipe on that simple dish… since CheeV nicely volunteered to be my tester… *ala, he’s just too cheapskate to go to Pizza Uno again… LOL
