Happy Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Just the other night, my sister noticed Gigi (my beloved pet pug) playing with an angpow packet (the red packet where money is placed in to be given away to kids by married people for blessings during the Chinese New Year). So we took out the trusty Oly digital camera and started snapping away…

She really looked like a small lion dance fooling around with the red packet. But then again, who am I kidding? Gigi’s so fat and lazy that she sometimes wouldn’t even bother jumping around for treats… hehe, here you go, enjoy the pix

Muahahaha, I snatched Yvonne’s angpow! Hope it’s got RM 100 inside, can get myself a lot of dog treats!

Hmmm, no fun! Yvonne’s not trying to snatch the angpow away from me. Darn, I bet this angpow is actually empty!

Okay, I’m bored now… this is not as fun as I thought it would’ve been

Last night, to usher in the year 2005, I invited some friends over to my house for a simple steamboat dinner. There were abundance of food and booze to last the whole night (and leftovers for the next two days to come, for sure! ). Luckily I had planned this simple event earlier, as most of the celebrations out there were cancelled as a respect to the recent tsunami disaster.

Penton drove both Andi Wu and Cheok Yeen over to my place by 8pm and we promptly got dinner started. Had countless rounds over the course of the night, and we ate so much, it’ll make any buffet proprietor shriek in horror at the sight of us eating!

Not gonna blog much further, nice weather today to sleep in… so here’s the group photo taken last night:

Damn, I’m so bored at home! And the weather of late isn’t helping either… few days back it rained like there’s no tomorrow and now it’s scorching hot!!!

These kinda weather not condusive for any productivity at all!
So I wandered to the kitchen to see if there’s something to munch when I saw Gigi sitting there waiting for my mom to cook Fried Loh Shee Fun (a type of noodle that sorta resembles a rat’s tail)… you can see her food bowl is there waiting

So it’s a holiday today…
Went to catch X-Men 2 in cinema today with Camy… quite a nice show, it’s more storyline than action this time…

And before that today, I managed to get myself a brand new unit of Sony Ericsson’s HBH-30 Bluetooth headset (see below)… underwater set… but well worth the price… it’s gonna be the first present I’m buying myself for this year’s birthday (it’s May 20th, in case you’re wondering)…

Then I bought Band of Brothers’ DVD set from one of the shops in Summit… Matthew, in case you’re reading this, you can get quite a selection of DVDs at RM 7 each (or 3 for RM 20) in Summit USJ!

And just now over the phone, Lisz wondered if she would be mentioned someday here on this blog… guess it’s mentioned now

I’m still here in KL… not sure whether gonna go back to Timbukt… i mean Nilai this evening or tomorrow… and it’s about to rain now… dark clouds gathering already…

And I’m home alone with Gigi…

Gosh… not going back to my KL home this weekend… starting to miss my pugsley already… her name’s Gigi and I’ve attached a pic of her below….

F1 qualifying is starting in about an hour’s time - can’t wait to see DC or Kimi kicks Schumi’s @$$… if that’s gonna come true - but I still think that Ferrari’s got the edge in qualifying - but McLaren and Williams are closing in to them in terms of race day performance - we shall see…
