Further tweaking late last night, I managed to squeeze more out of my rusty copper phoneline that runs the TMnet Streamyx ADSL service...

Now my downstream speed is 4,736kbps (that's slightly more than 4.5Mbps) and my upstream speed is still at 832kbps (that's around 0.8Mbps)...

Speedtest last night shows that I'm closer to the speed I used to get while in Tokyo:

Is this for real? Go figure...

Just gotta love tmnet! (never thought I'd ever say that ever in my lifetime )

P/S - Don't bother asking me how to uncap your own ADSL line, not on the comments below, no e-mailing me, no IMing me about it... and if you do doubt my line speed, then just believe it's all photoshopped

My weekend was a nice one, had good company for lunch on Friday, and followed by watching "Bourne Supremacy" with them that night... Movie's good, the girls started talking about how cute Matt Damon was, in the middle of the movie, and much more, during the ending credits.... *argh!* I could only say that the Ruskie girl was hawt

Saturday I attended a dinner banquet at Noble House, for the opening of Pro Billiard Supplies, the place to be for all your cueing and pool table needs! (Garry my man, can I get my free Predator 314 now? *wink*)

Food was great, great company too, after the dinner, we met up again at Club 7 in Subang for pool till late...

Sunday spent very little time watching the F1 race (got bored, went to sleep instead) and slept a helluva lot.... kinda paying back the sleep I lack since I've been turning nocturnal and consistently sleeping at 5am for the past few days...

STUPID ROAD WORKS IN SUBANG JAYA, CLOSING DOWN ACCESS ON THE ROUNDABOUTS IS KILLING ME! THE DETOURS ARE WAY TOO FAR AND CONGESTED, IT'LL ONLY MAKE SUBANG'S TRAFFIC WOES EVEN WORSE, FROM THE LEVEL OF WORST TO WORSTEST!

... when I've an uncapped ADSL line... now I don't have to worry about VOIP traffic... wish I can get back my Linksys WRT54G router that's up for warranty claim soon enough, then I can do some real good bandwidth shaping on this line

Heck, I can even serve the whole neighbourhood (or at least this block of apartment) with my Wi-Fi...

Managed to uncap my Streamyx DSL line...
My 384kbps/128kbps (down/up) is now 2592kbps down and 832kbps up!

Now I can refresh Jeff Ooi's Screenshots much faster to keep track of the whole Jeff Ooi vs Berita Hairan saga!

Sorry folks, haven't been able to update my blog for sometime now... and gosh, I've yet to edit the pictures of Tokyo as well...

New semester just started, am a final year student now... yay!

... and I'm back blogging again... will be having a month's break and started celebrating the end of my exams this semester by shopping with Andi Wu right after exam...

Took him to Taman Megah for dim sum first, before we went to IKEA since it's on sale... didn't have much to buy from IKEA, the wardrobe I wanted was not on sale, but I bought the 24-hour electric outlet timer for RM 9.90... it'll be useful someday, I hope... kih kih kih

Then went over to ACE Hardware to get some power plug converters so that I can use it while in Tokyo, Japan in 2 weeks' time

Had a hotdog, and then we drove to 1Utama, bumped into ireneQ upon arrival... went to MPH and bought a Japanese phrase book, and a Tokyo travel guide since I have RM 19 rebate voucher from the MPH Readers' Circle loyalty programme... and then shopped around somemore, needed a new belt, got one at 50% off, and then saw the same tie I misplaced! Without hesitation, I bought it This time at 30% discount...

Yeah, I'll be going to Tokyo on the 14th this month for a week. Not for holidays, but rather work-related, will blog about this in detail soon...
